How much does wine storage cost at Wine Wallet?
Wine storage at Wine Wallet starts at €24.90 per month (€273.90 per year) with the Starter package, which holds up to 150 bottles. For larger collections, there are the Exclusive (starting at €65.90/month, up to 500 bottles), Wine Enthusiast (starting at €115.90/month, up to 900 bottles), and Collector (1,000 bottles or more, starting at €1.44 per bottle per year, price upon request) plans. The prices listed apply to the Austria/Parndorf location; at the Germany/Meschede location, storage starts at 30 € per month. The exact price depends on the plan, location, and billing frequency (monthly or annually).
How is my price calculated?
The price at Wine Wallet is based on three factors: the storage location, the plan you choose (i.e., the size of your collection), and the billing method. If you pay annually, we’ll give you one month free—you pay for 11 months instead of 12. Example: The Starter plan costs €24.90 per month or €273.90 per year in Austria.
Which plan is right for me?
The right “ Wine-Wallet ” package depends on the number of bottles you own and the insured value of your collection: “Starter” for up to 150 bottles, “Exclusive” for up to 500 bottles (insurance coverage up to €50,000), “Wine Enthusiast” for up to 900 bottles (insurance coverage up to €100,000), and “Collector” for 1,000 or more bottles, with a customized quote. If you’re unsure, we’ll advise you personally and work with you to find the right plan.
Do I pay monthly or annually?
At Wine Wallet , you can choose between monthly and annual payments. If you pay annually, we're currently giving you one month free—so you pay for only 11 months instead of 12.
What's included in the price?
Every " Wine-Wallet" package includes: professional, climate-controlled wine storage; digital inventory management, including photos and documentation of every single bottle; and access to your collection via the Wine-Wallet web app. Insurance coverage is included starting with the "Exklusive" package (up to €50,000). So when you buy from Wine Wallet , you’re not just purchasing storage space—you’re purchasing your collection—professionally stored, digitally managed, and insured.
What does “handling of subsequent deliveries” mean?
At Wine Wallet, “handling of subsequent deliveries” means that we accept, inspect, store, and digitally record wines that you have sent to us at a later date directly from a retailer, winery, or yourself. This service is included in the Exclusive, Wine Enthusiast, and Collector packages. In the Starter package, a fee of €0.50 per bottle applies for this service.
How much do subsequent storage and additional deliveries cost?
Subsequent storage and additional deliveries are included in the price for the "Exklusive," "Wine Enthusiast," and "Collector" packages at Wine Wallet . For the "Starter" package, there is a charge of €0.50 per additional bottle delivered. This way, you can continuously expand your collection without having to switch packages.
How much does it cost to ship my wines?
At Wine Wallet , the retrieval and shipping of your wines are billed separately for all packages, because the costs depend on the quantity, destination, and preferred shipping method. In the Wine Enthusiast and Collector packages, your retrieval requests are processed on a priority basis.
How are magnums, double magnums, and original wooden cases (OWC) priced?
Of course, you can store special formats such as magnums and double magnums, as well as Original Wooden Cases (OWC), at Wine Wallet .
