ProWein 2026 in Düsseldorf
From March 15 to 17, 2026, the wine and spirits industry will gather at ProWein in Düsseldorf. For us, this is the perfect place to hold discussions, meet new partners, and plan our next steps toward expanding into Germany.
Also: We won't be exhibiting at ProWein this year, but we'll be there as attendees. Instead, we'll be exhibiting at a different venue, and we're excited to be participating in an event alongside Falstaff once again.
Falstaff Big Bottle Party
On Saturday, March 14, 2026, we’ll be at the Falstaff Big Bottle Party at the Maritim Hotel in Düsseldorf. What makes this event special is that, while ProWein itself is open only to trade visitors, this event also offers members of the public a rare opportunity to meet international winemakers, taste top-quality wines—and celebrate together afterward.
Here's a quick summary of the key information:
Date: Sat, Mar. 14, 2026
Doors open at 4:30 p.m., tasting from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., party from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m .
Location: Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf
Tickets: starting at €85 (special discounts for Gourmet Club members)
Why Germany Is So Important to Us
Especially at international events, it quickly becomes clear that buying and discovering wine is now a global experience. And many of our customers are already using Wine Wallet to easily purchase and store wine from anywhere.
Here’s how we want wine to work in the future: You buy your bottles wherever you find them (online, at a retailer, while traveling, or at events). And after that, it should be hassle-free: store it safely, keep track of it digitally, and stay flexible. Because in the world of fine wine, it’s increasingly not just about whether you want a bottle, but also about whether and how you can even get your hands on it. That’s exactly why the part that comes after shouldn’t be a hassle, too.
A warehouse in Germany—not “someday,” but now!
Our medium-term mission is to create a WineWallet that lets you operate from anywhere and store your wines wherever makes sense for you. Today, that’s Parndorf. In the future, we’ll also have locations in Germany (e.g., around Frankfurt) and additional storage facilities down the road. One account, one overview, many possibilities.
This makes sense not only for people who regularly shop internationally, but also for anyone who is just beginning to explore the world of fine wines:
Discovering and buying wine can be an international experience—but storing and managing it should remain simple and not involve a lot of shipping.
